What Birds Can Teach Us

Ever since I was a very small child, I loved watching birds. I would wake up with them! I remember sitting at the front window very early in the morning watching the robins as they hopped around the blades of grass glistening with dew. The robins would tilt their heads to listen for worms and suddenly snatch one up! But this little girl’s fascination didn’t stop there…

Please join me over at Blessed Transgressions where I am honored to once again be featured in this new online Christian Magazine, and where I share about lessons learned from my lifelong love of watching birds.

  3. Great post, Karen. I love the beautiful sound of songbirds as well - although they begin chirping at about 4:30 am here! I like how you brought in how we should begin our day in worship so that the day is better - it helps us to focus on His joy and peace. Thanks for linking up with Grace and Truth.

    1. Aimee, Thank you!

There is just something about hearing those first birds chirping when it is still dark out. You are so right, it really does help us to focus on His joy and peace.

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! :-)

  4. I love watching the birds, as well. They are such fascinating little creatures. I'm frequently poking around on the internet trying to identify some newly spotted one.

    1. I have several bird books. My husband has an app on his phone that even identifies their songs!

      They truly are fascinating creatures.

Thank you so much for stopping by. :-)
