Thanksgiving Thursday - October 22, 2015
Welcome back to Thanksgiving Thursday! :-)
This past weekend my husband and I treated ourselves to a trip up north to see the beautiful fall foliage and to visit three of our favorite historic towns. My husband's main goal was to sit on a bench in the town square and have the falling leaves cascade over him. lol.
Prior to leaving on our trip, my husband discovered that our favorite farm museum was hosting a wagon ride weekend the very weekend we were going. It was pretty much, sign me up!
The foliage report forecast showed peak in the areas we would be visiting. The weather forecast reported much colder temperatures for our weekend and even snow likely - all of which did not disappoint!
We just stayed for one night, but accomplished everything on our wish list for the two day visit.
Here is but a sampling of thanksgiving and praise to the Lord in pictures. He blessed our trip abundantly... I am so thankful for each and every vignette...

I am also so very thankful to the Lord that my echocardiogram was perfectly normal. :-)

I’ll count my blessings—
Count them o’er and o’er—
I’ll tell my Father’s goodness—
I will love Him more,
I’ll count my blessings, bountiful and free—
Yet I can never count them all—
So good is God to me!

Oh what a wonderful amazing trip! Love your pictures... and the fact you even got to see snow, lol! Isn't fall just the most glorious time of year! I experienced a beautiful day this week of fall color, and my heart just sang praises to the Lord for the riches found in His creation. How blessed we are to enjoy the handiwork of His creation! And glad your echo came back just fine - God is good!
ReplyDeleteIndeed it is! And to me the snow was the best part! Which is pretty incredible after the hard winter we had last year! lol.
DeleteI'm so glad you have enjoyed the same glories of autumn this week.
Indeed He is!
Thanks for stopping by! :-)
