Feature Friday - October 16, 2015

Welcome to this week's Feature Friday post.

I had the pleasure of visiting Faith 'N Friends this past week.  Faith 'N Friends was recently established by Deb Wolf  in collaboration with some of her friends to create a place to build community based simply on their love for Jesus and the blessing of friendship.

This week's blog post contribution to Faith 'N Friends,  How I Moved from Fear to Faith,  was written by Patti Krank.  I was drawn to the title immediately as it spoke hope to the "season of fear" I find myself in right now.  Patti's insights on how to gain courage were extremely encouraging and edifying.

Patti and her husband Kelly were Directors of Freedom Session in Olympia, Washington for four years.  Recently, they moved to South Carolina and are waiting to see where God might use them next.   Patti shares, "Our purpose in sharing Our Story is to offer hope to those who have pain in their lives.  Whatever your struggle might be, abuse, a broken marriage, addiction, self-hatred, perfectionism . . . there is hope and healing through Jesus Christ!  Freedom Session is a program that can be done in a small group study or as a large group in a church setting.  It is a healing/discipleship journey that uncovers the roots of pain in our lives and invites Jesus Christ to heal those areas of our hearts."
