Feature Friday - November 27, 2015

I was recently blessed to visit Crystal Hall's blog, The Good News, where I read, Awaken Your Spiritual Senses.

Crystal shares humbly about her own experience of craving time in the Word after she had spent a busy couple of weeks away traveling which had made it difficult to spend quiet time with the Lord, and how the Lord blessed her in the moment she finally met with Him once again...

Crystal shares encouraging Scripture and Godly wisdom on the blessings of being still before the Lord.

Crystal was born in San Antonio, Texas, raised on a ranch an hour away from the city. She spent six years working as a television journalist in a career that took her from Texas to Connecticut. She says that she will always be a journalist at heart: curious, driven and a truth-seeker.   As a journalist stories captivated or broke her heart.   But there was always one story that pieced it back together. A story that continues to captivate her...


"It gives me hope when I’m hopeless and strength when I’m weak.

It’s inscribed on my heart – weaved in my soul.  It has the power to write new beginnings  and erase wrongdoings.  It’s the story of The Gospel – The Good News.

 Crystal shares that she has been a follower of Christ since she was a little girl, but it wasn’t until the beginning of 2014 when God’s presence became more evident in her life.

Through heartbreak came healing.

Through trials came transformation.

I pray that through the words God lays on my heart, you feel encouraged, inspired and empowered.
