Thanksgiving Thursday - November 19, 2015

 Welcome to another weekly installment of Thanksgiving Thursday.  :-)

Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous;

Counting my blessings one by one:

• For my granddaughter's quick recovery from her very first cold...

• For my own cold breaking up before it settled too much in my chest...

• For the friendship I have gained in my hairdresser of many years, the fun and laughter we share at all my appointments...

• For a surprise phone call from my son, enjoying catching up...

• For a rare day out with my husband, visiting our favorite country store, strolling around LL Bean, shopping, taking advantage of some great coupons, and enjoying prime rib at Longhorn...

• For hearing my moms laughter and watching her joy as Lexi, her great-granddaughter, engaged with her on Skype...

• For this blessed season I am in to have my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter living with my husband and I - never taking it for granted...  

• For the joy of hearing my granddaughter talking in the other room...

• For the joy of a surprise from my son and daughter-in-law...

• For the newest member to our family, my grandpuppy Apollo, an Australian Cattle dog...  :-)

• For a fun day spent with those so dear to me, my husband, son, daughter-in-law, daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter and my new grandpuppy...

Praising God for His many blessings this past week.

I’ll count my blessings—

Count them o’er and o’er—

I’ll tell my Father’s goodness—

I will love Him more,

I’ll count my blessings, bountiful and free—

Yet I can never count them all—

So good is God to me!
