Thanksgiving Thursday - September 24, 2015
Welcome to another weekly installment of Thanksgiving Thursday. :-)
Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous;
it is fitting for the upright to praise him.
Psalm 33:1
Counting my blessings one by one:
Counting my blessings one by one:
- Being led to an honest mechanic
- Sharing a laugh with a co-worker, just when I needed one...
- A bond that grows sweeter and more special with my baby granddaughter, Lexi, each passing day
- Seeing Lexi's funny personality blossom, loving how much she makes me laugh
- Hearing my son-in-law read to my granddaughter in the next room, complete with special voices for all the characters
- The prayers of dear friends and bloggers
- Me and Lexi skyping with my mom
- Hearing how much my daughter enjoyed her first Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPs) meeting
- Sitting at work hearing through an open window the Catholic church bells playing "Be Thou My Vision" finding myself in a moment of worship, right there at my desk...
- Living in a town that feels like I'm on vacation, all the time - waterfront and unique old homes
- Enjoying alone time and prayer time out on my deck
- A fellow blogger, who is going home to be with the Lord soon, sharing her incredible joy despite her failing body, and the excitement she feels to soon meet her Savior; Oh, what an impression she left on me! :-)
- A head cold that went away fairly quickly
- Getting to cuddle with Lexi again after my cold ended - oh how I had missed those cuddles!
- Being led to a primary care physician whom I really, really like and whose medical approach fits perfectly the conservative treatment views that I desire
- Feeling the prayers of everyone who prayed for my annual check-up. As you can see above, it couldn't have gone better! :-)
- Not being more seriously hurt in a fall, which definitely had the potential... The spiritual warfare continues... But God - He protected!
- The Lord, who continues to close doors to cars we have been interested in purchasing; trusting that He is doing so to lead us to the perfect car
Praising God for His many blessings this past week.
A joy that is shared is a joy made double.

DeleteIndeed we are making special memories. I am indeed so very blessed.
Thank you for rejoicing with me in this wonderful season. :-)
I am always blessed by your visits!
Such wonderful things to be grateful for. Alone time and prayer out on your deck, that is probably the best thing to be grateful for. Alone time with our God. Thanks for sharing on Tuesday Talk this week.
ReplyDeleteMichelle, Indeed!
